Stone Neo 101 Netbook Launched

A three year warranty its only differentiator.

Stone, the overlord of Rock notebooks post-administration, has announced its own netbook entry: the Neo 101. Unspectacular in its appearance, the Neo 101’s only outstanding feature is a three year warranty.

Otherwise specs are eminently predictable; a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive accompanying the Neo 101’s 10.1in, 1,024 x 600 pixel screen. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and optional 3G comprise the connectivity options. Two USB ports and an ExpressCard slot round off the input choices.

Pricing is near enough as it should be at £316.25 (£275 ex. VAT) falling in line with systems such as the Eee PC 1000H and MSI Wind.
