Steve Jobs film trailer arrives online

The first Steve Jobs film trailer has arrived online, offering us a glimpse at Michael Fassbender’s portrayal of the late Apple co-founder.
While it’s only a minute long, the first teaser sets the tone for Danny Boyle’s forthcoming film.
It shows a lingering rear shot of Fassbender’s Jobs, preparing to deliver one of his trademark product reveals. In the background, various snippets of dialogue can be heard from the people in Jobs’s life, reflecting the fact that the film will go into his personal failings as well as his well-documented professional triumphs.
The film has been thrown around Hollywood for some time now. At one point Sony was producing the films, Christian Bale was set to play Jobs, and David Fincher was set to direct.
Despite there now being a new studio, star, and director involved, expectations remain high for the film. The reason for that can be attributed to the script, which has been provided by The Social Network scribe Aaron Sorkin.
Also, this script took as its source material Walter Isaacson’s million-selling official Steve Jobs biography, so there’s the added edge of authenticity to the film.
