Star Wars: Battlefront won’t support splitscreen co-op on PC

Star Wars Battlefront won’t support local splitscreen co-op on PC, Electronic Arts has confirmed.
Electronic Arts has explained on the game’s community blog, that you won’t be able to play splitscreen co-op Missions on your PC.
The game’s non-competitive Missions mode supports offline and online co-op, but it’ll only support splitscreen functionality on Xbox One and PS4.
“Splitscreen will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only,” came the official line from Battlefront Community Manager Mathew Everett.

The FAQ post also revealed that in the Walker Assault Mode you’ll be able to spawn inside a vehicle after collecting vehicle power ups that are scattered around the map.
These vehicle power ups have to be used within a certain amount of time though.
It was also revealed that Missions won’t award you any multiplayer career experience, but it will reward you with credit rewards for unlocks.
The Star Wars Battlefront release date is set for November 17 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
It’s the first time that we’ve heard of features not being available on PC for Star Wars Battlefront.
