Star Wars Battlefront beta extended until October 13

Electronic Arts has extended the Star Wars Battlefront Beta to Tuesday, October 13.
Forget to check out the Star Wars Battlefront beta this weekend? If so, we have some good news for you.
EA has announced that it will extend the beta period until October 13, giving you an entire extra day to swing your lightsaber around.
There is no exact time for when the beta will conclude, or when EA are planning to switch the servers off on each platform.
EA and developer DICE are taking advantage of the extra day to further test its multiplayer servers:
These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios,” community manager Mathew Everett said on the Battlefront blog.
“That means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity.
“This is all being done in the name of shoring up our infrastructure before we launch on November 17.”

The Battlefront Beta has experienced a few server problems over the weekend on all platforms, but that’s to be expected with a beta.
From our experience, the multiplayer beta has been relatively free of major issues, although certain aspects of the game do need to be rebalanced before launch.
EA has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will run at 900p on PS4 and 720p on the Xbox One.
Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 19 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
A certain special edition also comes with this fabulous mini-fridge.
