Netflix has announced it has obtained the international streaming rights to the new Star Trek television series, which will air on CBS in the United States.
In 188 countries outside the US, Trekkies will be able to stream the episodes within 24 hours of their US airing.

Additionally, Netflix has confirmed that all 727 episodes from the entire Star Trek library will be available globally on Netflix by the end of the year.
