Spotify and Sonos hook-up boosted through improved Android app

Sonos multi-room system and Sonos Playbar owners will soon be able to enjoy improved compatibility with the Spotify music streaming service.
The company is launching a new version of the Sonos Controller app, which arrives today for Android users in beta form, with a rollout on iOS and desktop coming soon.
The new Controller app improves on the rather basic functionality offered in the current version.
The update also makes using Spotify on Sonos a more stable experience, even during peak times.
Andrew Schulert, VP of Quality at Sonos, wrote: “Our teams have worked together to redesign the system for integrating Sonos with Spotify to be much more stable, even as the number of listeners at peak times increases in the future.”
