SpeedX Leopard is a smart bike built for speed

There’s no shortage of smart tech for bikes, but the SpeedX Leopard is built for pros.
It’s made of carbon fibre, making it incredibly light, which will make you faster. (It’ll also make it easier to carry should you store it on hooks on the wall.)
It certainly looks the part, but it’s got plenty of smarts too.
Phew. We’re knackered just writing about it.
The computer only takes half an hour to charge, then it’ll provide you with info for 800km or 40 hours of cycling.
It also has a built-in bike light that switches on automatically as soon as it gets dark.
SpeedX claims to be only the third bike brand in the world to have achieved full-integrated wiring. The other two’s models cost considerably more.

SpeedX is so confident in the Leopard’s quality it offers a lifetime guarantee on the frame.
It’s shot past its $50,000 funding goal and will ship in July. Most of the early birds have sold out, but you can still pick one up for $1,299 (£923).
