If you want your kitchen counter to look more like an off-planet trading post, this wild De’Longhi coffee machine deal might just be for you. This is an Amazon deal for today only.
Not content with making a good capsule espresso machine, De’Longhi has put the mechanism of a machine into what some might consider a piece of art. The Dolce Gusto Eclipse is a doughnut shape when you’re not using it, with its coffee-pouring mechanism swinging into action when you fancy a caffeinated beverage. With easy-to-use touch-sensitive controls, it should make pouring drinks quicker and easier, too.
It takes Nescafe pods and promises to make more than 30 different varieties of hot and cold drinks. This includes everything from Chai lattes to hot chocolate. Oh, and actual coffee.
With an RRP of £170, this machine is normally sold for £100. For today only it’ll be down to £80.
We reviewed this machine in 2016, giving it 8/10. We said: “The Dolce Gusto system has been making reliably good coffee for several years, but previous machines, especially of the manual type, have been clunky. Where the Eclipse does well is by resolving many of the usual problems with pod machines, such as a limited water tank and pod disposal, as well as offering a more immersive drink-making experience. A wide range of drinks and strength options makes it ideal for a busy household or multiple users, catering to espresso addicts and families alike.”
Amazon reviewers seem to enjoy this machine’s distinctive looks as well. One reviewer said: “Amazing. Although I already have a coffee machine for espresso/cappuccino, I got this one in order to be able to use the pods. It’s so stylish and gives great coffee.”
And while you’re there, why not pick up some capsules for your new machine?
