New PS4 Slim unboxing video further fuels console war rumours

They say seeing is believing… well in the tech world seeing it unboxed is the Holy Grail.
After images of the so-called PS4 Slim leaked online, video has now emerged of it being removed from what looks like the official Sony packaging.
Let’s Play Video Games has obtained a UK retail version of the unannounced console, expected to be announced a week from today.

As British games journalist Laura Kate Dale points out in the video, the packaging does not label this a PS4 Slim, a dead giveaway that the sleeker hardware is simply going to replace the existing PS4.
The console itself, as we’ve seen from the leaked snaps looks much, much slimmer in the hands and, judging by the way the unboxer is wielding it, a lot lighter too
You can also see the separated USB ports for the controller along with the new power and eject buttons replacing the awkward set up on the original.
The video goes on to power on the system, showcasing a “little strip of little lights” on the power button, again further legitimizing its authenticity.
So, well played Laura. Will Sony do as she asks and stop pretending this “f*****g b******t doesn’t exist before the PlayStation Meeting event next week? Probably not, but you can see the console for yourself below.
