Sony is set to announce a raft of new products during its press conference at Germany’s biggest technology tradeshow, IFA 2017.

We’re not yet privy to official details on what’s coming, but it’s likely that we’ll see a fresh round of Xperia smartphones debuting.

We’d also expect to see devices from a number of other sectors that Sony dabbles in, including cameras, speakers, and headphones.

But it’s a fairly certain bet that the prime focus will be on a new flagship Sony Xperia device, so read on for full details of how to catch the action live.

Sony is holding its IFA 2017 press conference on Thursday, August 31, 2017, presenting all if its new gadgets to a crowd of journalists.

The event will take place at 13:00 local time, which means UK viewers can tune in at 12:00 noon (BST) in London time.

We’ve not been able to source a dedicated YouTube stream for the Sony press conference, which is a shame.

But Sony has thoughtfully pledged to livestream its IFA 2017 keynote speech on its own website. You can find it at the link below:

The live stream video player should activate once the press conference begins – and probably shortly before, too.
