Sony NEX-3N press shots leak
Press shots of the Sony NEX-3N appear to have leaked online ahead of the device’s official unveiling.
Japanese website Digicam Info revealed the images, which seemingly show the new Song NEX-3N from the front and above in classic show-off fashion.
The Sony NEX-3N – which will presumably be positioned as an entry-level mirrorless camera like the Sony NEX-3 and the Sony NEX-F3 before it – appears to adopt the familiar stripped-back design of the rest of the NEX range. It has that familiar oversized interchangeable lens dwarfing a point-and-shoot-like body.
One notable addition is a zoom lever around the shutter button, which will tie-in with the 16-50mm power zoom lens. The shutter button itself is on the main body of the camera like the Sony NEX-3 rather than hanging out on the extended grip as on the bulkier Sony NEX-F3.
The pictures also appear to confirm a 16.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, which is the same as the Sony NEX-F3.
There are no additional spec details, or any information on price or release date, but you can bet we’ll be hearing something from Sony soon given the apparently official nature of these images.
What do you think of the new Sony NEX-3N? Are you a fan of the minimalist design and small number of physical controls, or do you prefer more direct control over your high-end cameras? Let us know in the comments box below, or through the Trusted Reviews Twitter and Facebook feeds.
