Sleep tight while camping with the Heated Sleeping Bag

Spring might have sprung, but that doesn’t guarantee warm weather, at least not in this country. If you’re going camping, you’ll want to take precautions. You want the Heated Sleeping Bag.

It’s not a sleeping bag per se, but actually a sleeping bag liner. Get in, zip it up and you can adjust the temperature using the control button – choose from high, medium or low, plus you can heat the hood and the feet section too. You’ll be nice and toasty.

It’s water resistant, so you won’t get wet, and is machine washable. It packs down small enough to fit in your bag, and lasts 12 hours on a single charge. Anyone who can sleep longer than that on a camp bed deserves a medal.

But the real killer feature is that it can charge your gadgets too. Plug in your phone or tablet, and it’ll juice it up overnight.

The only issue? You’ll need somewhere to charge it up. Though you can buy a version without a battery as well.

Some models can be worn as jackets too, if you can’t bear to take it off during the day.

It’s shot past its funding goal and still has 54 days to go. The version with the battery starts at $179 (£125), though there aren’t many left at that price. It’ll ship in October, by which time you can bet the weather will be baltic.
