Skylanders: Trap Team gets two new elements

Activision has announced new brand new Skylanders: Trap Team elements, called Dark and Light.

Just in time for the Christmas season, Activision has revealed it is adding two entirely new elements to the latest Skylanders game, marking the first time the publisher has done so since the franchise began.

The existing elements for Skylanders Trap Team are: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Air, Tech, Magic and Undead.

To introduce the new Dark and Light elements, Activision is releasing two new Trap Masters, known as Knight Mare and Knight Light, which will be available in store via the special Light and Dark Elemental Quest Packs.

Each Elemental Quest Pack contains one of the aforementioned Trap Masters, a special Trap for capturing Light or Dark villains, and a location piece to unlock a special level in the game.

The new Light and Dark elements will open up new levels within Skylanders: Trap Team, which will be home to new villains including Luminous and Nightshade, who are both part of the Doom Raiders, elite members of the Kaos army.
