Sky has emailed customers with an enticing offer that brings all eight Sky Sport channels for just £15 a month.
The deal, which is only available to existing customers via an email invitation, brings subscribers all of the action at a discount of up to £12.50 a month.
Committed subscribers currently receive the channels for £20 a month, while those on flexible contracts get the package for £27.50 a month.
If you want the £15 a month deal, Sky is asking subscribers to enter into a new 18-month contract, with the option of locking that price in for a total of three years.
That would enable savings of at least £180 in total, over the course of the three years.
The bundle includes: Sky Sports, Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Golf, Sky Sports F1, Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Arena.
A fair compromise?
Unfortunately, it’s not available to incoming customers at present, which is probably a smart ploy on the part of Sky.
Late last year I penned an opinion piece warning that Sky and BT customers are bring asked to pay too much to watch all of the live sport.
I theorised this could be driving customers towards free Kodi streams and contested that fairer pricing would inspire greater loyalty among customers.
This offer could certainly give Sky customers the opportunity to save money on their bill, while enabling Sky to retain them. Everyone wins right?
For those potential customers peeved at missing out on the deal (via Express), remember there’s an abundance of flexible Now TV options available for those who want to duck in and duck out of content.
