Sky NOW TV adds £4.99 PAYG Entertainment package

The Sky NOW TV box now has a PAYG Entertainment Pass for £4.99 a month, adding to the Sky Movies and Sky Sports offerings.

Anyone with a NOW TV box can now access a new entertainment pass, which can be purchased for £4.99 on a rolling monthly contract basis.

Sky already offered Sky Movies and Sky Sports passes through its NOW TV box, but the new Entertainment Pass may be the real reason to buy the £9.99 set top box.

The NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass offers 10 of Sky’s top 10 subscription channels on a contract-free basis, including Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic.

You’ll also get access to Sky Living, Sky Arts 1, Discovery, MTV, Comedy Central, GOLD, Disney and FOX with the Entertainment Month Pass.

Sky has said the £4.99 price is an introductory offer, so expect that monthly price to shoot up a bit in the near future.

The NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass will allow you to watch premiere episodes of some of the newest TV series including Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life, Dracula and The Tunnel.

Game of Thrones, The Following and Mad Men will also be available via the NOW TV Entertainment Pass in the coming months.

The £4.99/month package also offers a selection of entire box sets of shows aired on the Sky Entertainment channels, including The Wire and Mad Dogs.

You can also purchase a Sky Movies Month Pass. This is offered at a price of £8.99 a month, but you will get a 30 day free trial to begin with.

NOW TV box owners can also pick up a Sky Sports Day Pass for £9.99 for 25 hours live coverage of all the sporting events across Sky Sports’ six dedicated channels.
