Shenmue 3 creator to host live stream at midnight

Shenmue 3 creator, Yu Suzuki, will hold a live stream event tonight to mark the end of the game’s Kickstarter campaign.
At the time of writing, the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter campaign has just 15 hours to go and has raised over $5.5 million.
That’s already over $3.5 million more than the game’s $2 million goal, but that hasn’t stopped Suzuki releasing a video encouraging people to back the project that you can watch below.
“Since Shenmue 3 was announced a month has already gone by,” he says. “In a matter of eight hours, we reached our goal of $2 million and rewrote the Guiness World Record for fastest game to reach $1 million.”
“I believe we can make another miracle happen with Shenmue in these next 24 hours,” he continued. “You and I have had a shared dream for the past 15 years. Now it’s time to make our dream of Shenmue 3 a reality.”
Suzuki says he will be joined by key members of the development team to countdown to the end of the campaign.
You can join in via Twitch from 12AM Midnight tonight BST.

He has assured fans that Shenmue 3 will be a “full Shenmue experience” and the Kickstarter campaign reached $1 million within a few hours.
Suzuki also assured fans that all the funds from the Kickstart campaign would go directly towards the development of the game at Ys Net.
