Sheffield United vs Tottenham match preview

Since the restart Spurs have managed a 1-1 draw with Manchester United and a 2-0 win over West Ham.

The Blades have fared far worse since returning from the virus-imposed break – losing to Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal, and scoring only one goal in those three matches.

Chris Wilder’s side will have to return to the dogged, determined form that shaped the first half of their season if they are to get a result tonight against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs side.

United are without midfielder, John Lundstram, who has a shoulder injury. However, Jack O’Connell returns to the side after recovering from his knee injury.

Tottenham are firm favourites going into this fixture, but Blades fans will hope that – three fixtures in to the resumed season – their team has shed some rustiness and gained some fitness. Both sides still have a slim chance of European qualification, but must rack up some points soon. It’s a crucial moment in their season. Tune in on Sky Sports this evening for all the action.
