It seems Adele is not the only one enamoured by flip phones as new images of Samsung’s upcoming clamshell phone surface.
The company appears to be working on a full-on flip phone, early images and specs of which were discovered by SamMobile.
The phone, which was recently certified by the Chinese regulatory authority TENAA, is listed with the model number SM-W2016.
It will be a fully fledged smartphone featuring two 3.9inch AMOLED screens on either side of the flip section.
It is also likely to have a octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 64GB of storage, 3GB of RAM and a 16 megapixel camera.
Aside from the impressive specs, it will also feature an old-school numeric keypad.

Samsung has already demonstrated its nostalgia for the flip phone era by releasing a budget flip phone, the Samsung Galaxy Golden, in Korea earlier this year.
The newly discovered SM-W2016, likely a successor to the Galaxy Golden, will probably only see a Korean release, although Samsung have yet to confirm this.
LG announced the launch of their Wine Smart flip phone earlier this year for release in a series of countries including France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Kazakhstan and Japan.
But LG’s entry-level device can’t match the reported specs of Samsung’s upcoming handset.

The SM-W2016, is expected to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will also feature a 5 megapixel secondary camera.
