One of the most tantalising CES 2013 rumours so far, latest reports have suggested Samsung is to unveil a gargantuan 110-inch ultra-high definition TV at the Las Vegas based show.
Seemingly set to be unveiled during the early January highlight of the tech year, new CES 2013 rumours out of Samsung’s native Korean have suggested the tech behemoth could be readying its largest UHD TV to date, with the 110-inch monster to launch alongside a series of OLED offerings.
Citing an unnamed Samsung official, the Korean MK News outlet has claimed that “at next year’s CES, to be open on January 8 in Las Vegas, the US, Samsung will have its 110-inch UHD TV on display.”
Offering further details on the claimed Samsung 110-inch UHD TV, a translation of the Korean report quoted the Samsung insider as stating: “Not to mention ultra-sized screen, our UHD TV will boast the best-ever definition and design that you haven’t experienced before.”
Although it is not unfeasible that Samsung will out a new 110-inch UHD TV at the upcoming CES 2013 convention, with current 84-inch UHD TV offerings costing a hefty £23,000, it is unlikely that Samsung’s rumoured super screen will be made widely available anytime soon.
Far from the first Samsung based CES 2013 rumour to do the rounds, recent reports suggested that Samsung will expand its range of Samsung Galaxy devices in Las Vegas. Whilst it is more than feasible that the Apple rival will unveil a new addition to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet line, claims of a Samsung Galaxy S4 release have been largely rubbished with the Samsung Galaxy S3 follow-on expected to receive its own high-profile unveiling in March.
