Preorder the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and get a free Gear VR

Samsung has officially launched its new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones at MWC 2016, and there’s a nice deal to be had for those looking to preorder.
The company announced that those in the US, Europe, and other select countries will recieve a free Gear VR headset when they preorder the new phones. They’ll also get six games to use with the headset for a limited time.
Samsung’s US site says that the offer runs from February 23 to March 10, ahead of the phones’ release on March 11.
The Gear VR allows users to turn their phone into a virtual reality headset.
Nothing else was revealed about the deal at the event in Barcelona, but the presentation focused a lot on the new Vulkan API.

The new tech which comes with the S7 and S7 Edge, gives users the ability to play high-performance graphic games with lower battery consumption.
Samsung claimed at the event that Vulkan API allows for ‘PC quality gaming on a device you hold in your hands’.
The firm seems to be focusing heavily on VR, providing all those attending the press conference with a Gear VR headset which was then used to play the official launch videos.
