The Samsung Galaxy S4 camera has been teased ahead of launch with a selection of leaked screenshots suggested the eagerly awaited device will play host to a 13-megapixel snapper.

Emerging courtesy of newly claimed Samsung Galaxy S4 screenshots, which show off the handset’s camera credentials, the Samsung Galaxy S4 camera has been teased as a 13-megapixel affair, tying in with previous reports to the same effect.

Seemingly set to line up with the same photographic capabilities as the recently released Sony Xperia Z, the latest Samsung Galaxy S4 camera leaks have suggested that the device will be capable of capturing 13-megapixel images at a 4:3 ratio whilst those looking to take widescreen 16:9 shots will have to settle for 9.6-megapixel snaps.

Far from the first time the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been tipped to play host to a 13-megapixel camera, it is expected that the S3 follow-on will also feature a 2-megapixel up front.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Rumours
With Samsung last week confirming that a Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event will be held in New York City next Thursday, March 14, S4 rumours have kicking into overdrive in recent weeks, suggesting that a Samsung Galaxy S4 release date will be held between April 15 and 22.

Tipped to become the world’s first eight-core smartphone, further Samsung Galaxy S4 rumours have suggested that the handset will play host to 2GB of RAM and an expansive 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD display, all wrapped within a newly designed form factor.

Further building around the handset’s camera tech, it has been suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S4 features list will be bolstered by new Smart Scroll abilities which will automatically scroll down the page based on where the user’s eyes are travelling.
