Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus launch details leak

Samsung is no stranger to September smartphone launches, but we can never really say for sure what the company has in store ahead of time.
Fortunately, a new leak gives us a big clue as to what we can expect from the South Korean tech giant at this year’s IFA Berlin tradeshow – that’s set to run from September 4 to 9, although an announcement could come a few days early.
According to information obtained by Sammobile, Samsung is planning to release both a Galaxy Note 5 and a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus at the event.
What’s more, they’ll both reportedly ship as phablets with the exact same screen size, namely 5.67-inches corner-to-corner.
Better still,
The key difference, however, is that the Note 5 is claimed to use a conventional flat display, while the S6 Edge Plus will seemingly mimic the S6 Edge by featuring a dual-edge curved screen.

The information also details how both phones are expected to feature glass casing on the back, just like the current Samsung Galaxy S6.
The report goes on to detail how the Galaxy Note 5 is apparently being developed under the codename ‘Project Noble’, and will feature an Exynos 7422 processor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, currently codenamed ‘Project Zen’, looks set to feature a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, paired with 32GB of storage, a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation, 4K video recording, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Of course, we can’t actually verify this information and can only go on the word of the report, so take this latest round of rumours with a pinch of salt.
