Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 UK release date announced

Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 release date for the UK, revealing the 4G handset will be purchasable from tomorrow.

Available to buy from Saturday, October 5, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is the follow-on to the extremely successful and popular Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.

“Our latest addition to the Galaxy portfolio, the Galaxy Ace 3 is packed with loads of features designed to provide a smoother and more intuitive user experience”, said Simon Stanford, Vice President of IT and Mobile Division at Samsung UK and Ireland. “Following the success of the Galaxy Ace 2, we are confident that our customers will enjoy this new device when it hits the shelves this month.”

Available at first as an EE exclusive, the Galaxy Ace 3 will then be made available from selected retailers including Carphone Warehouse and Tesco.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Features

Running on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 has a 4-inch WVGA LCD display with a 480 x 800p HD resolution.

The Galaxy Ace 3 is powered by a pretty average 1,800mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Samsung TouchWiz UI introduced with the flagship Samsung Galaxy S4.

With a design aping the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy Ace 3 measures up at 121.2 x 62.7 x 10mm and offers 8GB of internal storage bolstered by a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 64GB.

Featuring a 5-megapixel camera in the rear, there’s also a VGA forward-facing snapper for video calling and low-res selfies.

Available on the 4G and 3G networks, the Galaxy Ace 3 specs are rounded-off by NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
