Surprise! Samsung hits us with three new Galaxy smartphones
There’s no shortage of Samsung smartphones on the market, but that doesn’t mean the launches will stop any time soon.
Samsung has officially unveiled three new Galaxy smartphones.
The South Korean tech giant lifted the lid on new entries to the upper mid-range Galaxy A-series.
The handsets – named Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 – are being peddled under ‘2016’ branding, as devices with those names already exist.
Here are the spec details for each handset:
Samsung Galaxy A3

- 1.5GB RAM

- 13-megapixel rear-facing camera
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera
- 2,300mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy A5
- 5.2-inch 1080p display
- 1.6GHz octa-core processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage
- 13-megapixel OIS rear-facing camera
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera
- 2,900mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy A7
- 5.5-inch 1080p display
- 1.6GHz octa-core processor
- 3GB RAM
- 16GB storage
- 13-megapixel OIS rear-facing camera
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera
- 3,300mAh battery

“The line-up reinforces the Samsung Galaxy design heritage,” writes Samsung, “combining metal and glass to create a beautiful premium exterior with a narrower bezel, for an exceptional viewing experience.”
According to Samsung, the Galaxy A 2016 range will be available in the UK from April 2016, eventually expanding to global markets.
