Samsung has released official photos of its novel new fridge design featuring a large touchscreen.
The company is obviously keen to show off its odd new gadget as it was originally spotted on large advertising banners at the venue for this week’s CES event.
Now official photos have been posted to the firm’s Korean Flickr feed which show the design in all its bizarre glory.
The screen on the door of the fridge closely resembles an Android smartphone with its ‘home’ and ‘back’ buttons and what looks to be a microphone icon, hinting at voice control.

The company has a host of smart home gadgets on the market and is expected to announce several new additions alongside the phone/fridge at CES.
Three new products are expected from the company’s ‘C-Lab’ initiative which allows Samsung employees to take a year off from their day-to-day jobs in order to work on their own product ideas.
There are no official photos of the fridge’s touchscreen interface yet, but the banners on display at CES reveal what looks to be a calendar, the ability to write notes, and even a music player.
The banners also refer to the fridge as a ‘Family Hub Refrigerator’.
