Resident Evil 5 remaster lands on PS4 and Xbox One
Capcom has re-released Resident Evil 5 for current generation consoles with a shiny new makeover.
The updated version of the 2009 action shooter includes all previously released DLC and a slew of graphical improvements.
It now operates at a 1080p resolution and 60fps on PS4 and Xbox One, much like the recent digital release of Resident Evil 6.
Content previously exclusive to the PC version of Resident Evil 5 such as the ‘No Mercy’ mode is now available for the first time on consoles.

Capcom has also added a new mode known as “Mercenaries United” which aims to be a unique twist on the fan favourite mode of the same name.
This marks the second of three planned Resident Evil releases for PS4 and Xbox One.
Resident Evil 4, originally launching for Nintendo Gamecube in 2004, is set to debut on modern consoles later this year.
This will be followed by Resident Evil 7 in January 2017, a bold departure from previous games that will be playable in its entirely through Playstation VR.
