Red HTC One M8 pictured again ahead of launch

The HTC One M8 looks set to get a colourful update, with a red M8 having been caught on camera ahead of a formal unveiling.
With the flagship HTC One M8 having originally launched in grey, silver and gold hues, it has long been suggested that the Taiwanese manufacturer is working on bringing more vibrant editions to the device to market.
Now, despite the previously tipped red, blue and pink M8 editions having failed to be officially confirmed, the red rendition of the Samsung Galaxy S5 rival has been spotted in the wild.
Show in and out of its box, the red One M8 is reportedly close to a general release, with latest reports claiming the colourful device is already landing in the stock rooms of some retailers in Taiwan.
Despite the M8 inspired HTC One Mini 2 having been formally unveiled this morning, the manufacturer has yet to offer any word on when newly hued spinoffs of its flagship phone will hit UK shores.
Aside from a colour change, the red HTC One M8 is not believed to differ in any way from its more traditionally toned siblings.
The HTC One M8 benefits from a stunning, brushed metal design, wrapped around a 5-inch, 1080p Full HD display.
Powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM, the M8’s specs sheet is further enhanced by Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS and an innovative dual lens rear-mounted camera which offers improved depth to captured shots.
