Recreated ZX Spectrum now available to buy for that retro gaming fix

The Recreated ZX Spectrum is a reboot of the iconic home computer and here’s where you can buy the iOS and Android-friendly accessory from today
Gamers of a certain age will have fond memories of the 8-bit computer that first launched way back in 1982. That’s because it was one of the first true home computers that went on to sell more than 5 million units.
Invented by Sir Clive Sinclair, the Spectrum was recently resurrected via crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and now the Recreated ZX Spectrum has landed with a few modern updates.

The full-sized Bluetooth keyboard with its authentic rubber-keys, is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. A free companion app also gives you access to iconic games like Chuckie Egg along with the Sinclair BASIC & Game bundle where new games will be added through updates.
There’ll also be a host of games exclusive to the Recreated ZX Spectrum including Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy plus a host of applications available for free from the recreated Sinclair ZX Spectrum Online web app. Select content will also be available for selected Smart TVs along with Mac and PCs to take the classic gaming to the big screen.

The Recreated ZX Spectrum will set you back £89.99 and is available to buy online today from the likes of Amazon, Argos, Game and Dabs. Be quick though, as some places are already out of stock.
