Razer Wildcat could rival the Xbox One Elite Controller

Razer just announced the Razer Wildcat, a customisable Xbox One controller that could rival the Elite.
The Xbox One Elite Controller was announced at E3 2015 and created quite the stir. And now it might have a future rival in the Razer Wildcat.
Razer dropped the bomb about Wildcat at PAX and it’s a customisable controller aimed at professionals in the eSports scene – like the Elite.
The manufacturer claims the Wildcat is 25 per cent lighter than the standard Xbox One controller, which should see it being a hell of a lot lighter than the Xbox One Elite Controller.
It has two extra triggers on the underside, two more buttons in between the shoulder buttons and two sliders on the underneath too.
These can be remapped using the control panel at the bottom, which will also allow the controller to support multiple profiles and chat options.
The Wildcat also has a honeycomb rubber grip pattern on the palm sections, analogue stick covers and what Razer is calling “aircraft grade” aluminium triggers.

What about price then? The Xbox One Elite Controller is due out this November with a retail price falling around the £110/$150 mark.
But the Razer Wildcat is also priced at $150, with UK pricing yet to be announced. There’s also no release date yet.
We’ll be intrigued how the two compare when they’re both in for testing.
