Razer offers 2-for-1 on Nabu X smartband

Razer has announced a 2-for-1 deal on its Nabu X fitness-tracking smartband.
Customers who purchase a Nabu X smartband from the online RazerStore will get another band completely free of charge.
It’s part of the ‘Razer Band Together’ scheme, which hopes to make sure Nabu X owners have at least one friend with the device.
That’s because the Nabu X has unique social features such as exchanging Facebook and Twitter contact details when two device owners shake hands.
“
“By offering a free Nabu X, Razer is allowing purchasers to enjoy the social features and get the most from their new smartband when they gift it to a friend. Sharing is caring!”
The Band Together promotion is only running between April 28 and May 21, so you’d better act quickly if you want to bag a pair of Nabu X bands.
A single Nabu X costs £45, although this deal means you’re effectively getting two bands for £22.50 apiece – that’s a pretty good deal.

Razer announced its Nabu X at CES 2015, unveiling the device as an entry-level spin-off to the original Nabu band.
The Razer Nabu X first went on sale in the UK on January 27, although this is the first time we’ve seen the device discounted (sort of).
So what does it actually do? Well it has three colour-customisable LEDs to give you notifications, for a start.
It’s also got an accelerometer and a vibration motor, supports iOS and Android, has a detachable sensor module for strap-swapping, and can track and share a range of data.
