Razer is launching its own digital game store with some serious perks

Gaming hardware manufacturer Razer is entering the software world with its own digital game store for PC users.

The new Razer Game Store, which goes online today around the world, will give gamers instant access to thousands of games, including the most popular titles.

Those games will be delivered to PC users via Steam or Uplay codes, with gamers earning rewards for every purchase.

When gamers buy from the Razer store they’ll unlock exclusive offers, vouchers, discounted peripherals and more.

To celebrate the opening, Razer is currently offering 15% of storewide.

Thereafter, the company will chose four games that bundle in a host of exclusive perks. The games and perks will change each week.

This week, anyone who buys Far Cry 5, Ni No Kuni II, Wolkenstein II and Assassin’s Creed: Origins will get a $15 Razer Game Store discount voucher, double zSilver earned per purchase and a $10 Razerstore hardware voucher.

The company is offering users the chance to use the zSilver currency on any purchase. However, more zSilver can be earned by using Razer’s own zGold currency to make those purchases.

In a press release, the company wrote: “With its unique rewards system , buying a game from the Razer Game Store grants more value than in any other digital store as gamers are then able to redeem their rewards for other Razer products and more each time they checkout.”

Brits will be pleased to know pricing will be available in local currency.
