PSN is down following scheduled maintenance

PS4 users around the world are finding themselves unable to access online services as the PlayStation Network appears to be down once again.
This latest outage follows one that occurred just last week following the launch of Battlefield 1 due to a nationwide DDoS attack on DNS provider Dyn, affecting a number of services across North America and Europe.
It is still unclear what is causing the downtime, or when all services will be back up and running for players. Sony is currently aware of the issues affecting users, and is doing its best tor resolve them.

At the time of writing Sony’s official status page lists the following services as being offline:
- Account Management
- Gaming and social
- PlayStation Now
- PlayStation Video
- PlayStation Store
- PlayStation Music
This sudden outage follows scheduled maintenance time originally set to conclude at 6/7am BST. So it could be a result of server maintenance gone wrong.
We’ll be sure to update this story once the issue is resolved.
