PS4 Ratchet and Clank release date confirmed

Insomniac Games has confirmed the PS4 Ratchet and Clank release date, with the game arriving in April.

If you want to get involved in the new Ratchet and Clank game coming to PS4 this year, then you’ll be pleased to hear it’s landing on April 20.

It’s available to pre-order now in fact, so you can secure your adventures straight away after reading this news story.

The new title will spin a new version of the Ratchet and Clank origin story.

“It features modern Ratchet and Clank controls, new planets, new and improved gameplay, all-new boss fights, new flight sequences and much, much more,” explained Insomniac Games’ Community Lead, James Steveson.

“Coinciding with the major motion picture, the game tells the story from the perspective of Captain Qwark, so you can expect a different (more… Qwarktastic) twist on events.”

The game will feature some of your old favourites character-wise including Big Al, Dr. Nefarious and the evil Chairman Drek, but there will be some new faces to meet along the way too.

Insomniac Games tells fans to keep “your Lombax ears open for more new news and information soon”, so no doubt we’ll be drip fed info about the new Ratchet and Clank between now and June.

Until then, Insomniac Games has released some new screenshots of the game to keep you quiet, along with the game’s boxart.
