PS4 gets official $50 price cut in the US

Sony has officially cut the price of the PS4 in the US to $349, starting tomorrow October 9.
There’s been an official PS4 price cut in the US, prompting speculation that we’re about to get one here in the UK.
In
the US, the previous price was $399.99, which has been the official RRP
since the PS4 launch back in 2013. From tomorrow the official RRP for
the US will be $349.99, a nice $50 reduction.
The move follows a
similar price cut in the PS4’s home market of Japan, brining the
pricing in line with the 500GB Xbox One too.
What’s more, the Canadian price has been given a snip too, from $449.99 down to $429.99.
We reached out to Sony to ask about a UK price cut and the official line is:
“We have nothing to announce at this time”.

Sony is going into the holiday period with a tonne of bundles, including one for the awesome Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection.
It’s facing some massive competition from Xbox One this holiday season though, especially when it comes to exclusive AAA titles.
