PS4 DualShock 4 and PlayStation Camera already started shipping

Consumers who pre-ordered their DualShock 4 and PlayStation Camera accessories for the PS4 may have already received their items.

Reports have come in that DualShock 4 controllers and the PS4 PlayStation Camera have already started arriving at the homes of pre-order customers.

Ahead of the November 29 PS4 release date, several consumers have reported their PS4 accessories have now been shipped, whilst other have already received them.

These reports are for purchases made on the American Amazon site, but this may soon extend to European locations too. Certain US high-street retailers are also suddenly stocking both PS4 peripherals.

The DualShock 4 controllers are priced at £54.99 a piece in the UK, with the PS4 gamepad available in Jet Black, Magma Red or Wave Blue.

They are still available to pre-order from various UK retailers, but the majority of those in the US are listing them as out of stock.

A PlayStation Camera will also set you back £54.99 and will be released the same day as the PS4. Similar to the Xbox One Kinect, the PlayStation Camera will offer motion gaming capabilities and voice and gesture controls.

Until the PS4 release date, those who have got their mitts on the DualShock 4 early can utilise some of its features early.

It can be connected to current-generation PS3 consoles via USB and can also be used with select PC and Mac gaming titles until the PS4 comes out.

The PS4 comes with a single DualShock 4 controller as standard, but doesn’t come with the PlayStation Camera within the £349 retail price. Sony has launched the PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall Mega Bundle for £450, which offers a digital copy of the game, an additional DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation Camera.
