Project Cars release date delayed again

The Project Cars release date has been delayed again until April 2 in Europe.
Developer Slightly Mad Studios has announced the Project Cars release date has slipped yet again.
The racing simulator title was originally due to launch in November 2014, but was pushed until March 20 to move the game away from the competitive holiday season.
However, now that release date has slipped again – if only by two weeks.
The new April 2 release date only applies to Europe, and there’s no word on the status of the American release. This is for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions, while the Wii U is still a vague 2015 launch.
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project Cars,” said Ian Bell, Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve.”
“We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”

During our hands-on session with Project Cars earlier this year, we had quite a few issues with several bugs we found in the game.
We have to say we’re not entirely surprised that there’s been a release date delay, and hope that all the bugs will be ironed out before launch in April.
Project Cars is definitely one of the most beautiful and realistic racing games to land in recent years.
