Project Cars PC requirements confirmed

The Project Cars PC requirements have been confirmed ahead of launch next month.
As the game is nearing its loose May release date, developer Slightly Mad has revealed a raft of technical details for Project Cars.
First up, you’ll want to know the minimum and recommended PC requirements for the racing simulator, which are as follows:
Minimum PC requirements:
CPU – 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, 3.0 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 940
GRAPHICS – Nvidia GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 5770

Recommended PC requirements:
CPU – 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 3700, 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
GRAPHICS – Nvidia GT600 series, AMD Radeon HD7000 series
On PC, you can get up to a 12K resolution with Project Cars, but of course the actual frame rate will depend on the capabilities of your PC rig.
Project Cars on PS4 runs at 1080p full HD and at 60fps, while the Xbox One version is 900p HD and 60fps.
Sadly there’s no split-screen mode for Project Cars, because Slightly Mad wanted to achieve the 60fps framerate.
The developer also revealed that it is going to “investigate” integrating DirectX 12 with the game.

Although this is primarily a new-gen console and PC racer, there is also a Wii U version of Project Cars.
Slightly Mad has said it will release more information on the technical capabilities of the Wii U version “in an upcoming featured article”.
Project Cars was originally due out in November last year, but was subsequently delayed. First it was delayed until March, then April and now the game is out in May.
