Pre-order your 24K gold Samsung Galaxy S7 now

A London company is offering a 24K gold customisation of Samsung’s imminent flagship phone, the Galaxy S7.

When Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge last month, arguably the least impressive thing about them was their design. The company has by-and-large stuck with the design template of last year’s Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

If you really want to make your Galaxy S7 stand out from the pack – and you have particularly gaudy tastes and a healthy bank balance – you might want to check out this custom job from London company Truly Exquisite (via Stuff).

For a relatively modest £1,700, the company will provide a 24K gold-plated Galaxy S7 handset. For £1,750, you can get an 18K rose-gold model, and for £1,800 you can pick up a platinum-plated device. If you prefer the slinky 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, you’ll need to add £100 in each instance.

Each phone will also come with a “luxury Wooden Display Box”, as well as a Samsung Gear VR headset and a wireless charging plate. Don’t live in the UK? Don’t worry, since the company offers free worldwide shipping, along with a one-year guarantee.

Pre-orders are open now, but you’ll need to deposit half the total amount to secure one “very soon after the official release date,” which is 11 March.
