Plex finally has some good news for Kodi users

It’s been a rough year for Kodi users, with legal crackdowns seeing many of the more popular add-ons disappear from the popular media streaming software.
However, in a rare upturn in fortunes for users, the makers of the Plex Media Server have made the Plex For Kodi add-on free for all.
This is great news. Previously, those wishing to use it had required a Plex Pass premium subscription.
The dropping of the fee requirement makes it even easier for users of both Plex and Kodi to enjoy the best of both worlds (via Slashgear).
With Plex they’re able to access their stored media, while also enjoying what Kodi streaming add-ons have to offer.
Caveats
There are caveats to the free version though. Audio fingerprinting and parental controls are missing, but many users are unlikely to need them.
