PlayStation Now open beta launches in the UK

Sony has just launched the open beta of its PlayStation Now gaming-streaming service.
The platform has been available in the US for a while, but it’s now open for those in the UK.
PS Now lets users play PS3 games over the cloud using certain internet-connected Sony devices, including the PS4, PS3, and select Bravia TVs and Blu-ray players.
All you need to play the games is one of the above devices, a DualShock 3 or 4 controller and a broadband internet connection with at least a 5Mbps download speed.
With PS Now, you’ll be able to play a host of classic titles such as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, The Last of Us, God of War: Ascension, BioShock Infinite, Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Dead Space 3 and Mirror’s Edge.

Games will be offered at prices ranging between £2.99 to £7.99, with rental periods of 48 hours up to 30 days.
The service launches at 11am on PS4 and PS3, while select Bravia TVs and Sony Blu-ray disc players will gain access from 4pm.
