PlayStation ’94 London pop-up opens up for one day

Sony has opened up a PlayStation ’94 pop-up shop in London where you experience an authentic indie game video store.

Offering you the feels from an 1990s video game store, today, and today only, you can head down to the PlayStation ’94 pop-up.

If you want to take a look at it, the pop-up shop is located at: 133-135 Bethnal Green Road, London, E2 7DG.

Not only can you pick up some PlayStation merchandise in the pop-up store, but Sony also has a huge array of PlayStation swag from the past twenty years of its lifetime on display.

Of course, the major draw for the PlayStation ’94 pop-up is (or should we say was) the opportunity to buy one of the limited edition 20th anniversary PS4 for just £19.94.

Just 94 lucky customers got the chance to get their hands on the limited edition console, with the original PlayStation design. As you might expect, all of those consoles have gone at that price already, with queues down the street before the pop-up opened this morning.

You had to get down there with a piece of PlayStation memorabilia and the secret password revealed on PS Access last night.

Sony is also offering a further 50 of the limited edition 20th anniversary PS4 consoles over Thursday and Friday, but at the full retail price of £399.

All the money raised by the sale of these consoles goes to GamesAid.
