PlayStation 4 software update 3.50 out tomorrow

PlayStation 4’s long-awaited software update 3.50 goes live tomorrow.

Sony confirmed the news via the PlayStation Blog, detailing what will be included in the update.

As well as friend online notifications, you can also (finally) appear offline, meaning you won’t be pestered with party and game invites if you just want to enjoy a game by your lonesome.

You will also now be able to use Remote Play on PC and Mac. Resolution will default to 540p, but you can up it to 720p and even increase framerates from 30 to 60 fps.

You’ll also have a dedicated PS Plus hub to manage online storage, broadcast gameplay to DailyMotion and much more.
