Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare latest title to EA Access

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is the latest addition to EA Access on Xbox One.

Any EA Access subscribers can now play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare on their Xbox One.

EA Access, the Xbox One only subscription service, currently only has a limited selection of games, but PvZ Garden Warfare is the latest addition.

PopCap’s FPS is free to download and play if you’re an EA Access subscriber, and will continue to be so for as long as you keep playing your subscription.

It was originally released in February, the game has been consistently updated with a lot of free content.

Last month, Need for Speed: Rivals was added to the EA Access roster, so Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is the second title to be added since the service launched earlier this year.

So far, the EA Access vault is home to Battlefield 4, Peggle 2, FIFA 14, and Madden NFL 25. EA revealed that the plan is that once a game has been added to the Vault, it will most likely stay there forever.

Along with free access to any games within the Vault, EA Access offers members early access to upcoming EA games and discounts on EA titles and related DLC.

EA Access costs £3.99 a month or you can get a year’s membership for £19.99.

The service is an Xbox One exclusive, mainly because Sony said it didn’t believe it was good value for gamers.

“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” said Sony in a statement.
