PewDiePie launches his own video network called Revelmode

Gaming YouTube celebrity Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg is launching his own video network – with a little help.
Disney’s Maker Studios has given PewDiePie a chunk of money to launch his own online video network.
According to Variety, it’s going to be called Revelmode, although what exactly Revelmode is has yet to be revealed.
PewDiePie will be joined by a host of other YouTube talents including Markiplier, Kwebbelkop, Jelly, Jacksepticeye, Emma Blackery, Dodger, CinnamonToastKen and CutiePieMarzia.
“PewDiePie and the Revelmode talent squad wield their passion for gaming and pop culture to bring you original shows, games, charitable programs, community events, merchandise and more,” reads the Revelmode blurb.

“We’re thrilled to be doubling down with Felix,” explained Maker Studios’ executive VP Courtney Holt. “He’s an amazing talent, a great partner and the pulse of millennial pop culture. We firmly believe in his vision for Revelmode and his chosen creators – we can’t wait to see the possibilities ahead.”
What hasn’t yet been discussed is how Revelmode will affect PewDiePie’s relationship with YouTube, especially since he’s now the headline face of its new subscription service YouTube Red.
He has previously hinted at his aspirations to start his own video network that could help video creators.
“I started as a gaming and digital-content fan long before making this a profession,” PewDiePie explained. “The idea of Revelmode was built from my own experiences and will aim to bring together an Avengers-like talent squad to work and grow a business together.”
