PES 2017 signs exclusive deal with Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC is now an official partner of PES 2017, Konami has announced.

In a press release, Konami has detailed the deal, which will grant exclusive access to the club, allowing the developer to deliver an incredibly authentic representation of the club in the game, including the iconic Anfield football stadium, which will become available in a forthcoming free update as well as the “you’ll never walk alone” chant.

The deal extends to PES console and mobile titles.

But for FIFA fans, fear not, EA has confirmed to TrustedReviews that Liverpool FC, Anfield and the YNWA chant will continue to feature in FIFA 17, with EA Sports the league partner of the Premier League.

PES 2017 launches on September 15 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
