Pebble cuts prices for entire UK smartwatch range

Pebble has announced that it is cutting prices across its UK smartwatch range.

The headline reductions appear to be for the Pebble Time, which is now available for £149.99 (was £179.99), and the Pebble Time Round, which now costs £179.99 (was £229.99).

But unlike in the US, where the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Round are now $149.99 and $199.99 respectively, the entire UK Pebble range is receiving a price cut. The Pebble Time Steel, which was £229.99, now costs £199.99, while the Pebble Steel is down from £179.99 to £119.99.

Finally, the original Pebble smartwatch that kicked it all off can be yours for £79.99.

These new prices look like even better value when you consider the Pebble Health update that the Pebble Time, Pebble Time Steel and Pebble Time Round received in December. As the name suggests, this new software brings fitness tracking capabilities to Pebble’s more recent devices.

Developed in collaboration with researchers at Stanford University, Pebble Health takes a more intuitive approach to fitness tracking. Rather than obsessing over step counts, it simply has you trying to beat your averages through on-screen charts.

Future updates to Pebble Health will do things like alert the wearer of a gap in their schedule for a power walk ahead of an afternoon of meeting.

In addition to the aforementioned price cuts, Pebble has now made the Pebble Time Round available in physical retailers in the UK and Europe. Anyone who bought the watch from Pebble.com at the old price on or after January 21 will pay the new price.
