Panasonic Viera AX900 4K UHD TV series coming to UK in Q3

The flagship Panasonic Viera AX900 4K UHD TV series will arrive in the UK in Q3 2014.
Although Panasonic has yet to reveal the exact specifications of its flagship 4K UHD line, it does say that the range combines “’Beyond Smart’ features, supreme picture quality and cutting-edge designs.”
Before Q3 though, Panasonic is trying to cash in on the Brazilian World Cup in June with its AX800 series, which initially comprises of the 4K UHD AX802 and the full 1080p HD AS802.
The Panasonic Viera AX802 uses an LCD panel with 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160p and is powered by a Hexa Processing Engine PRO.
It comes with 2000Hz Back Light Scanning technology and a 4K Intelligent Frame Creation engine to deliver excellent picture quality. The display is also capable of 3D.
The AX802 has high-end Local Dimming Pro technology to improve contrast performance and comes with a HDMI 2.0 port and DisplayPort terminal.
Panasonic originally launched the AX800 series at CES in January, with screen sizes including 50-, 58- and 65-inch screens.
The AS800 series is pretty much exactly the same but with IPS LCD displays offering a full 1080p HD resolution rather than 4K UHD.
The full HD range comes in screen sizes of 47-, 55- and 60-inches.
Exact prices and release dates for the Viera AX802 and Viera AS802 has yet to be revealed.
