Overwatch, the new multiplayer shooter by Blizzard Entertainment, has already amassed over 7 million players.
The hotly anticipated shooter launched last week for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it seems to be doing incredibly well.
Blizzard has confirmed that over 7 million players have logged a total of 119 million hours in the game since launching last week.
The developer has described Overwatch as “one of the most successful global launches of all time,” which is nothing to sneeze at.

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer shooter featuring 21 playable heroes and 12 unique maps. Players must work together in order to succeed, using their different abilities and skills to ensure victory.
The game currently supports a handful of modes, with competitive and ranked options to be added in the coming months.
