OnePlus has sold out of tickets to its OnePlus 5T launch event

Last week, OnePlus started selling tickets to its OnePlus 5T launch event in Brooklyn, New York – and now the firm has revealed that it’s sold out of the passes, which went for $40 a pop.

Those attending the event – usually reserved for reporters, retailers, networks and the like – will receive a swag bag containing: a OnePlus-branded backpack, baseball cap and hoodie, as well as a handful of other collectables.

Each ticket holder will also be entitled to hands-on time with the OnePlus 5T, refreshments and the prospect of meeting Carl, Pete or another member of the OnePlus team (there’s no guarantee they’ll get to, though).

The OnePlus 5T is rumoured to feature near-identical internals to the OnePlus 5; however, it should benefit from a larger 6-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display, an upgraded dual-camera setup and a beefier 3,500mAh battery.

Seeing as features the same shell as its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T is expected to carry the same price tag – starting at as little as £449 for the 64GB variant and topping out at £540 for the elusive 128GB model.
