OnePlus One Marshmallow update is nearly here, finally

The OnePlus One was launched way back in 2014, but its owners haven’t given up on software updates just yet.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the OnePlus One smartphone is “in the final testing stage”.
The long-awaited upgrade – made available to OEMs by Google last year – will arrive “very soon” for owners of the very first OnePlus smartphone.
That’s according to OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, who broke the good news on Twitter:

The OnePlus One Marshmallow update was originally meant to arrive in the first quarter of 2016, but that deadline was unfortunately missed.
Users of the newer OnePlus 2, meanwhile, have access to a beta Marshmallow build, although the software isn’t finalised.
It’s also expected that OnePlus will soon unveil the OnePlus 3, the long-rumoured 2016 flagship. Unfortunately, no release date has yet been given.
